Ferry Approaching Lock

At last a beautiful day here in Harwich Harbour, wind is southerly blowing 8 to 10 knots with a sea breeze developing as the day goes on. Forecast for tomorrow looking a little damp with showers most of the day. The weekend forecast however is alot better with some sunshine and light breezes from the south. Smack in the Harbour!

Good aftaernoon and welcome to a glorious day here in the Harbour at Felixstowe and Harwich. We have wall to wall sunshine this afternoon with a south east breeze blowing 10 knots average. People are actually out on their boats  enjoying the sunshine! Temperature is still a little cool with a wind chill of 6 degrees C. Important date for your diary. Here we are almost halfway through April and Easter upon us already. Last few weeks have been busy here at the marina with people getting their boats ready for the new season. The yard crew are flat out getting boats back in the water for Easter. In the last few days we have had a number of emergency lift outs with fouled propellers and groundings, however there will not be any naming or shaming!!
